Oyo APC Primaries: Former Tinubu Minister Adelabu Accuses of Result Manipulation

Former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu has accused the Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) of manipulating the results of its primaries.

Adelabu, who is running for the governorship, made the claim on Thursday after voting at his own polling unit and speaking with journalists.

The Daily Post reports that Adelabu resigned from his ministerial post to pursue the Oyo State governorship.

Speaking to reporters, the ex‑minister warned that similar irregularities were occurring in other wards: “I must sound this note of warning that it is not this way in a lot of other wards. Reports reaching me state that there are a lot of gross misconducts in the other wards, ranging from various forms of infractions. In some wards, they conducted the election hours before the appointed time and wrote the figures they liked.”
