Protesting Nigerians on Thursday stormed the streets of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, demanding the rescue of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

The protesters, who converged in large numbers, were heard chanting, “Tinubu must go,” “Rescue them or resign,” and “Bring Nigerian children now.”

They also told the officers of the Nigerian police that it was their fundamental right to stage the protest and asked them to cooperate.

One protester speaking to a man in a car said, “Oga, Tinubu must go. You see what is happening today. You people are also part of it. Take this video. I’m going to post it to you. I don’t need any permission. You are a big man. Oga, go and tell people that you witnessed this thing.”
