The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Sunday criticized Nigerian politicians in the wake of the recent abduction of students and teachers in Oyo State.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele declared that Nigerian politicians are “heartless and satanic to the country.”
He warned that those who have sold themselves to the government, including some clerics, will eventually face consequences.
The prophet questioned the credibility of Nigeria’s security system, asking why the government does not heed warnings before danger arrives.
He said: “Our politicians are heartless and satanic to the nation, and there is no way nemesis will not fight. Even our clerics have failed us, including security operatives. If it was an advanced country, we would have gotten a tangible solution now.”
“I don’t understand why Nigeria doesn’t align with God’s plan; what is wrong with our system? Even those who are in power, when you give them a solution to this problem, they see you as a jester.”
The prophet stated that the incident is a shame to religious bodies such as CAN and PFN because they are not telling the government the truth they need to hear.
He warned the President to do everything necessary to avoid being disgraced out of office.
He also criticized Governor Seyi Makinde over a recent event where he was ratified as the presidential candidate of his party.
Primate Ayodele condemned the governor for attending such an event despite the incident occurring in his state.
“What is happening is a shame to CAN, PFN, Islamic bodies; God is not with this government, and if Tinubu doesn’t do all that is needed, he will be disgraced out of office.”
“The government is missing it every day, and even the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, hasn’t handled this well. Despite all of these, he still went for a rally declaring his fake ambition.”
“The blood of the innocent is crying; it’s a disgrace to the Obas in Yoruba land. They are all bringing bitterness to our land.”
Continuing, Primate Ayodele said Tinubu has failed woefully and that if the children die in captivity, the President should abandon his second‑term ambition.
“Tinubu has failed woefully in terms of security; Nigeria is in pain, and if these children die, Tinubu should forget about a second term because this is how it started during Jonathan.”
“For the pastors on the government’s payroll, it’s time for them to stop it and come out. I have taken personal efforts, but they didn’t take my warnings seriously. If you ask them to pray for nine days, they pray for only two days and go AWOL.”
“I had warned about Oyo like ten times in my video; I made mention of schools severally, but they didn’t listen; the president must do whatever he has to do to ensure the safety of these children.”
