Oyebanji Wins Ward from ADC Candidate Bejide in Ekiti Governor Election

APC disqualifies Kayode Ojo from Ekiti guber, dissolves Enugu exco

Ambassador Dare Bejide, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for governor, has lost his polling unit and ward to Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election.

Bejide comes from Ward 2 of Ekiti South-West Local Government Area, an area also represented by IT expert and politician Makinde Araoye.

At Polling Unit 004 in Ward 2, Governor Oyebanji received 140 votes, Bejide received 37 votes, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 2 votes.

This result gave the APC an early lead as results were being collated across the state.

Result Summary – Polling Unit 004, Ward 2, Ekiti South-West Local Government Area:

APC: 140 votes
ADC: 37 votes
PDP: 2 votes
