The All Progressive Congress candidate and incumbent governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has secured victory at his own polling unit in the current Ekiti State governorship election.
Results from Polling Unit 003, located in Oyebanji’s Compound, RA 04, Ekiti West Local Government Area, show the governor receiving 326 votes out of 333 accredited voters at the unit.
The unit has 668 registered voters.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) received 2 votes, the Action Democratic Party (ADP) 1 vote, and the African Action Congress (AAC) 1 vote.
Three votes were declared void, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) did not obtain any votes.
After casting his vote on Saturday, Oyebanji remarked that the turnout was impressive and the exercise remained peaceful, noting a turnout of about 49.9% at the unit.

APC: 326 votes
ADC: 2 votes
ADP: 1 vote
AAC: 1 vote
PDP: 0 votes
