Osifo congratulates Tinubu over victory

The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant in the just concluded primary election, Stanley Osifo, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu.

Osifo extended the congratulations following the announcement of Tinubu’s victory in the APC presidential primaries.

The aspirant had an impressive performance in a few states like Niger, where he scored 5,248, Kano-2,675, Lagos -1,186, Abia -1,007, Oyo-929, Benue-779, and Nasarawa with 768 votes.

DAILY POST reports that Tinubu emerged winner after polling 10.99 million votes to defeat his rival,  Stanley Osifo, who secured 16,504 votes.

President Tinubu will now contend with presidential candidates from other political parties in next year’s general elections.
