The Germans already had the defensive midfielder on their wish list last summer, and during the winter transfer window.

The Eagles are prepared to pay between €8 million and €10 million to sign Onyedika.

Club Brugge are not in a strong negotiating position, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2027.

Onyedika joined the Belgian Pro League champions from Danish club FC Midtylland in 2022.
