One person killed and three injured in tricycle collision in Jos.

JOS — A fatal tricycle collision on Monday evening left one person dead and three others injured along Haske Road near the Lamingo Golf Club in Jos, Plateau State.

Two commercial tricycles, commonly known as Keke Napep, collided after one driver tried to avoid a pothole, lost control, and struck an oncoming vehicle.

Eyewitness Mr. Joseph Haruna reported that the impact was severe, killing one passenger at the scene and injuring three others to varying degrees.

The wounded were promptly taken by bystanders and emergency responders to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Another anonymous witness described the accident as tragic and urged authorities to repair the potholes that have become a persistent hazard for motorists, tricycle operators, and other road users.

The crash briefly stalled traffic on Haske Road as residents and commuters gathered at the scene.

At the time of writing, traffic and emergency management officials had not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
