Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan announced that goalkeeper Andre Onana is expected to join the club on a permanent basis after his loan spell with Manchester United ends.
Onana spent the previous season on loan at the Turkish Super Lig side before returning to the Red Devils. Dogan told Ajansspor, “I think Andre Onana will stay with the team; we have met his financial demands.”
“The fans like him too, he is a decent bloke. I don’t think we will have any problems,” he added. “I don’t think he will find the same level of interest in him anywhere else. So I think he will stay with the team.”
In other news, Prince Cisse, the son of former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse, has signed his first professional contract with the Reds. The 17‑year‑old has been at Anfield since the pre‑Academy phase and scored on his debut for Rob Page’s U21 side during the 2025‑26 campaign.
After transitioning from attacker to defender in recent seasons, Cisse now primarily plays as a centre‑back.
