David Emmanuel Ombugadu, a former member of the House of Representatives and a long‑time PDP figure, formally launched his campaign poster for the upcoming Nasarawa North senatorial by‑election.

The launch event was held on Saturday in Akwanga and drew senior PDP members, including officials from the party’s State Working Committee, as well as supporters and other stakeholders from the senatorial district.

During the ceremony, Ombugadu framed his senatorial bid as a mission to strengthen representation, foster unity, and advance the collective interests of Nasarawa North.

He pledged that, if elected, he would build on his past legislative work and provide effective representation in the National Assembly.

The PDP leader also reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Nasarawa State, emphasizing that his continued political involvement is aimed at delivering good governance and sustainable development for the people.

According to Ombugadu, the by‑election offers another chance to deepen democratic participation and give residents a stronger voice in national affairs.

He urged party members and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the poll, calling for unity and focus to secure a PDP victory.

“This is a collective project that goes beyond individual ambition. It is about providing quality representation, promoting unity, and advancing the welfare of our people,” he said.

The former lawmaker expressed confidence in the party’s prospects and encouraged supporters across the senatorial district to work tirelessly for a decisive win at the polls.
