Oladipo named Serie A Femminile best defender

Shukurat Oladipo has been named best defender in the Serie A Femminile for the 2025/26 season, DAILY POST reports.

Oladipo was recognised for her remarkable role in AS Roma’s title success, their third in the last four years.

The 21-year-old, who can play in central defence, and right-back made 18 league appearances for the Galliorosi.

AS Roma kept eight clean sheets across her 18 matches.

The Nigeria international was also named in the Team of the Season.

Oladipo was joined by three other AS Roma players in the selection.
