According to the Daily Post, the governor has appointed Mr Festus Alenkhe, the State Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), as Acting Managing Director of EBS.
A statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Umar Musa Ikhilor, said Mr Aledeh has been redeployed to the State Orientation Agency as its pioneer Director General, effective immediately. Mr Alenkhe will serve in an acting capacity until a substantive Managing Director is appointed.
Ikhilor explained that the redeployment is part of the governor’s ongoing administrative adjustments aimed at optimizing resource management and strengthening institutional capacity in key sectors of the state administration.
