Ogun State Needs Ladi Adebutu to Move Forward, Says Toyin Amuzu

A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State and the party’s flag‑bearer for the House of Representatives in the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Toyin Amuzu, praised the PDP’s governorship candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu, as a credible and competent leader with the integrity and capacity required to advance Ogun State.

Amuzu said Adebutu remains one of the most experienced and prepared politicians to lead the state “at this critical period.”

On Sunday, Oladipupo Adebutu was selected as the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Ogun State.

Amuzu highlighted Adebutu’s long‑standing commitment to the welfare of the people, his accessibility, and his deep understanding of governance as reasons he is the right choice for Ogun residents.

“Chief Ladi Adebutu is a man of integrity, humility, and proven leadership capacity, with no baggage of deceit or dishonesty. He has consistently demonstrated genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people using his personal resources and has remained committed to the development of Ogun State,” Amuzu said.

The PDP stalwart added that Adebutu is a true son of the soil, whose roots and contributions to Ogun State’s growth are widely acknowledged across the state.

Amuzu maintained that Ogun State deserves a leader with credibility, honesty, and a clear vision for development, adding that Adebutu, as a thoroughbred indigene, possesses the qualities needed to reposition the state economically and socially.

“Leadership must be built on truth, competence, and compassion for the people. Chief Adebutu has shown over the years that he understands the challenges facing the people and has the experience to provide practical solutions.”

He also reaffirmed his confidence in the Peoples Democratic Party, describing the PDP as a party committed to people‑oriented governance and democratic ideals.

Amuzu urged party members and residents of the state to unite behind Adebutu’s candidacy to secure a PDP victory in the 2027 governorship election, expressing optimism that the party would deliver purposeful leadership capable of addressing unemployment, insecurity, and economic hardship confronting the people.
