Ogun APC Announces Winners of House of Representatives Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has announced the winners of its House of Representatives primary elections held across the state on Saturday.

Philip Shaibu, chairman of the Ogun State APC National Assembly Primary Elections Committee, released the results at the party secretariat in Abeokuta after receiving reports from collation officers in each federal constituency.

Funmi Efuwape was declared the party’s candidate for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, while Olumide Osoba secured the ticket for the Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency.

Moruf Afuape won the primary for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, and Toyin Taiwo emerged victorious in the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency.

The committee also named Olanrewaju Bashorun the winner of the Ado‑Odo/Ota Federal Constituency primary and Adijat Adeleye as the candidate for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.

In the remaining constituencies, Joseph Adegbesan won the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, and Razaq Dadah clinched the Ijebu‑Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East Federal Constituency.

Gboyega Isiaka was declared the winner of the Imeko Afon/Yewa North Federal Constituency primary.

The party said the results followed the successful conduct of the primaries across the affected constituencies in the state.
