Ogu, Udeachara, and Onuoha win PDP Senate nominations in Abia.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released the results of its senatorial primaries in Abia State.

The selected candidates are Jude Udeachara for Abia North, Bob Ogu for Abia Central, and Chinyere Onuoha for Abia South.

Udeachara, who ran as the PDP House of Representatives candidate in 2019, secured 39,740 votes to win the Abia North ticket.

Ogu, who served as Abia State Commissioner for Works under former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, obtained 18,901 votes to claim the Abia Central seat.

Onuoha received 33,611 votes, earning the PDP nomination for the Abia South senatorial seat.

At the PDP state office in Umuahia, Chairman of the PDP Senatorial Election Committee Ikenna Onuoha announced the results, describing the exercise as fair, rancour‑free, and conducted by consensus.

Prior to the announcement, PDP Abia Chairman Abraham Amah stated that the party is preparing decisively for a victory in the 2027 elections.
