The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has launched Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform aimed at streamlining tax processes, enhancing compliance, and identifying tax evaders.
During the Abuja launch, Executive Chairman of the NRS, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, described Rev360 as a key milestone in the Service’s move toward a more integrated and intelligent tax administration system under its Tax Administration 3.0 reform agenda.
He said the platform would improve service delivery, strengthen compliance monitoring, increase transparency, and simplify interactions between taxpayers and the tax authority.
“Rev360 represents a significant step towards building a more modern, efficient, and responsive tax administration system that aligns with global best practices,” Adedeji said.
He added that the initiative reflects the agency’s commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and data‑driven revenue administration.
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, also praised the initiative, noting that technology‑driven tax systems are essential for modern economic management and a better ease of doing business.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary (Special Duties), Mr. Mohammed Sanusi, he pledged the ministry’s support for the successful implementation of the platform.
Speaking on the benefits to taxpayers, Executive Director of the Medium and Emerging Taxpayers Group, Mrs. Bolaji Akintola, said Rev360 would simplify registration, filing, payment, and compliance processes while improving user experience and accessibility.
Executive Director of Technology, Mr. Iniabasi Akpkan, said the platform would enable faster and more convenient tax payments, thereby encouraging voluntary compliance.
He added that the system’s upgraded design allows for better data integration and analysis to determine compliance levels across transactions.
According to him, the platform can also leverage financial and transactional data to detect tax evasion patterns.
Chief of Staff to the NRS Chairman, Mr. Tayo Koleosho, said Rev360 was developed in response to evolving global business and technology trends, noting that it would enhance efficiency, improve taxpayer engagement, and ensure stronger data protection.
The launch event featured a documentary on the evolution of tax administration in Nigeria, demonstrations of key taxpayer processes, and a panel session themed “Designed by Us, Used by All”, focusing on implementation and user experience.
The NRS also showcased its integrated support system, including a command centre, customer service teams, and IT support units, aimed at ensuring a smooth rollout and continuous assistance for taxpayers.
