NPFL: Warri Wolves target President Federation Cup success

Warri Wolves are determined to make a strong impression in this year’s President Federation Cup, DAILY POST reports.

The Seasiders will face Stormers SC in the Round of 64 at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Wednesday.

DAILY POST notes that Warri Wolves were eliminated in the Round of 16 of the competition last year.

“The Seasiders will be aiming to make a strong statement in this year’s competition as they continue their pursuit of a maiden President Federation Cup title,” Warri Wolves said on the club’s media channel.

“Warri Wolves’ best outing in the competition came in 2016, when they enjoyed an impressive run to the quarter‑finals.”

The winner of the competition will qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
