NPFL: Musa Commends Kano Pillars for Their Resilience After Avoiding Relegation

Kano Pillars forward Ahmed Musa praised his teammates for their resilience and determination after the club avoided relegation.

The Sai Masu Gida stayed in the top flight despite a 1‑0 loss to Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

The four‑time champions finished the season in 15th place, earning 48 points from 38 matches.

Musa thanked football stakeholders in the state for their support throughout the campaign.

“Despite our slow and unfamiliar start to the campaign, our darling club, Kano Pillars FC, showed resilience, character and determination to retain its NPFL status for another season,” Musa said in his appreciation message.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support, prayers and encouragement from the good people of Kano and football lovers across the country.”
