NPFL: Aweroro Praises Players for Shooting Stars’ Continental Achievement

Shooting Stars technical adviser Nurudeen Aweroro praised his squad after the club finished third in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.

The Oluyole Warriors secured a continental berth for the first time in more than twenty years.

Aweroro said that both the players and the back‑room staff were essential to achieving a top‑three finish in the NPFL.

“To God be all the praise – He made this possible, I’m deeply humbled to lead this group,” Aweroro told the media.

“My heartfelt thanks to Hon. Taiwo Lekan‑Salami for the belief and backing.”
