Remo Stars technical adviser Usman Abd’Allah says he is confident the club will retain its place in the top division by the season’s end, DAILY POST reports.
The champions are currently confronting the possibility of dropping to the Nigeria National League (NNL) less than a year after securing their first league title.
Remo Stars climbed out of the relegation zone after edging Bayelsa United 2‑1 in Ikenne on Sunday.
To guarantee safety, the Sky Blue Stars must defeat Bendel Insurance in their final match of the campaign.
Abd’Allah remains sure they can meet that goal.
“We have to work very hard to score because we have to win. We need nothing less than a win. We can’t be written off. By the grace of God, we will go there, get the three points and escape relegation,” the former Super Eagles assistant coach told the club’s media.
