Nollywood Actors Aren’t as Wealthy as Many Believe – Shine Rosman

Nollywood actress Shine Rosman has stated that many people overestimate the wealth of Nigerian movie stars.

In a recent podcast hosted by her colleague Baaj Adebule, Rosman explained that the prevailing belief that Nollywood actors are very wealthy is not entirely accurate.

She highlighted that, contrary to popular belief, a significant number of Nollywood actors face financial difficulties.

Rosman added that the actors who appear financially comfortable typically earn most of their income from other business ventures.

“The most overrated misconception about Nollywood stars is that we have money. I don’t know why people assume we have money. Some of us do have money, but from other ventures. But many of us are struggling financially,” she said.
