The former Anambra State Sports Commission will be replaced by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

Ralph Nweke, Secretary of the Anambra State Football Association, confirmed on Thursday morning that the deadline for submitting applications for the Solution FC positions had been Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

“As we speak now, I am yet to know the exact number of applicants for the various positions,” Nweke said.

“But what I can confirm right now is that the submission of applications ended yesterday, Wednesday, 24 June 2026.”

He added, “The next step would be to sort the application forms by the positions applied for.”

ANSFA Election Date Stays the Same

The ANSFA scribe confirmed that the Anambra State Football Association Elective Congress will take place on 30 June 2026 in Awka, the state capital, as previously scheduled.

“As for the FA Board elections, scheduled for 30 June, I can say the date remains sacrosanct,” Nweke assured.
