Nigerian striker Toyosi Olusanya has signed a two‑year contract with Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen, Completesports.com reports.
Olusanya joined Pittodrie on a free transfer after his contract with Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo expired.
The 28‑year‑old is Aberdeen’s fifth summer signing and returns after a productive loan spell in the second half of last season.
He scored twice in 16 league matches for the Dons.
Manager Robinson Happy With Striker’s Return
After finalising the deal, manager Stephen Robinson said: “Toyosi made a really positive impact during his time with us last season and we’re delighted to bring him back to the Club.”
“He gives us something different in the final third. His pace, power and energy make him a difficult opponent for defenders, while his work ethic and attitude are exactly what we want within the group.”
“Having already spent six months here, he understands the expectations that come with representing Aberdeen Football Club and we believe there is much more to come from him. We’re looking forward to helping him continue his development and seeing the contribution he can make over the next two years.”
