Super Eagles prospect Emmanuel Ayaosi has again attracted attention ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Afrik‑Foot.

The 21‑year‑old Nigerian forward has drawn interest from several top clubs in the Czech Republic and across Europe after a string of impressive performances during the season. He was close to joining Viktoria Plzen in the January transfer window, but the deal collapsed over valuation disagreements.

Ayaosi began his career with Nigeria Premier Football League side Dakkada FC, where he enjoyed an impressive spell before moving abroad to Czech club Karvina in 2023. He initially joined the club’s U19 team before earning promotion to the senior squad.

He finished the 2025‑26 campaign with seven goals and ten assists across all competitions, contributing 12 goals in the league alone.

Czech champions Slavia Prague agree deal for Emmanuel Ayaosi

Sources confirm that Czech champions Slavia Prague have reached an agreement to sign Ayaosi from Karvina, making him their first addition ahead of the upcoming season.

The 22‑time Czech champions reportedly outbid Viktoria Plzen and several other interested clubs to secure the forward’s signature.

The move will also see Ayaosi join fellow Nigerians Igoh Ogbu and David Moses at Slavia Prague, which may help ease his adaptation to the club.

“They have followed him for some time and have now gotten their man. In a matter of days, it will be sorted, as all the paperwork has been completed,” a source close to the player told Footy‑Africa.

“I can confirm to you that the deal is 100 percent done, and it is now only a matter of time before they make it official.”

“He is a good player who has been on the radar of many clubs, but Slavia Prague have beaten others to sign him. The player is happy with everything and is looking forward to playing for the champions,” the source added.

Ayaosi targeting Super Eagles breakthrough

Ayaosi has emerged as one of the most promising Nigerian youngsters in Europe this season, and his move to Slavia Prague represents another major step in his career.

The 21‑year‑old’s next target will now be breaking into the Super Eagles setup, following an impressive campaign at club level.

Although the Unity Cup tournament could have provided an opportunity for his first invitation, Ayaosi was overlooked by Eric Chelle. A move to Slavia Prague is expected to give him greater exposure and improve his chances of earning a future call‑up, especially as Nigeria continue their rebuild for the future.

Ayaosi will now hope to carry his impressive form into this new chapter of his career at the 22‑time Czech champions, where he will aim to shine in the UEFA Champions League next season and help them defend their league crown.
