Nigeria secures two medals on opening dayof Accra 2026

Team Nigeria secured two medals on the first day of the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra, Ghana, according to Completesports.com.

Both medals came from the women’s discus competition.

Divine Oladipo, who debuted internationally for Nigeria, earned the silver medal.
