NFF to Organize CAF A, B, License, and Refresher Courses

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalized arrangements for Confederation of African Football (CAF) coaching courses designed to elevate the qualifications of coaches in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and other top-tier divisions.

The CAF B‑License refresher course will take place from Saturday, 20 June to Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

The CAF A‑License program will be offered in six modules over seven months, running from Sunday, 2 August 2026 to Tuesday, 7 February 2027. The schedule provides NPFL and Nigeria National League (NNL) coaches with a clear pathway to meet continental standards.

“This is part of the NFF’s strategic effort to build the capacity of coaches across the country,” said NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen.

It is worth noting that Nigeria was recently readmitted to the CAF A‑License convention after a nine‑year absence.

Eligible applicants include active elite‑level coaches working in the NPFL, NNL, NWFL, NLO, or with national teams.

Applicants must hold a CAF B diploma, be literate in English, possess computer literacy with access to a laptop or tablet, and submit a medical certificate, curriculum vitae, and a reference letter.

Twenty‑five coaches who succeed in the pre‑assessment tests and the B‑License refresher will receive a CAF CMS link to commence the A‑License program.
