Moment VDM asks Gov. Makinde when children will return [VIDEO]

Activist Martins Vincent Otse, known online as VeryDarkMan (VDM), addressed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Tuesday, demanding an update on the rescue of abducted pupils and teachers.

VDM led a sizable group of protesters, mainly young people, to the Governor’s House to press for immediate action. In a viral video clip, he warned the governor that supporters of the Ratel Movement were prepared to confront the kidnappers’ stronghold to secure the victims’ release.

He stated, “We are here for one reason, we want kidnapping, banditry and terrorism to stop in Nigeria.”

He added, “It’s quite unfortunate that the issue that brought us here happened in Oyo State but does not start here. I’m happy that this one is bringing us together.”

“We are here to ask you, the governor, when are the children coming back? What are you doing to bring the children back?” he continued.

VDM pledged, “If you don’t have men, we are ready to volunteer ourselves to go into the bushes with the police, army, and any security agencies that are ready to go into the bush.”

He concluded, “As it is now, we don’t even know the condition of the children, we don’t know if the children are still alive.”

Governor Makinde responded by assuring that the victims would be rescued soon.
