Mexico arrests US‑wanted nephew of “El Chapo” Guzmán

The nephew of Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán was apprehended during a security operation in Mexico, officials announced on Tuesday.

The suspect, identified only as Isai “N,” was taken into custody in the northern border state of Sonora. He is wanted by U.S. authorities, according to senior security official Omar García Harfuch, who posted the information on X.
