Married Women Are Attracted to Artists Who Sing Romantic Songs – Singer Sunny Neji

Veteran Nigerian singer Sunny Neji has said that performers who specialize in romantic music often attract attention from female fans, including married women.

He explained that married women, in particular, tend to feel a “natural” pull toward artists who sing about love and relationships.

Neji made the comment during an interview with Yanga FM in Lagos, amid a controversy involving a Nigerian artist’s alleged affair with a well‑known media personality’s wife, an incident that reportedly led to their divorce.

While acknowledging that it is “natural” for married women to be drawn to romantic singers, Neji stressed that it is up to the artists to maintain discipline and avoid engaging in illicit relationships.

“If you are an artist who sings love and relationship‑based songs, married women will naturally be drawn to you. That is normal, but what happens next depends on the choices you make. It is left for you to be disciplined and avoid temptations,” he said.
