Manchester United have confirmed that they will not consider Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola for the permanent head‑coach position.
Iraola’s contract with the Cherries expires at the end of the season, after which he will leave the club.
The 43‑year‑old has attracted interest from several clubs, including Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Chelsea, as the Red Devils continue their search for a long‑term manager.
According to the Daily Mail, Iraola is no longer a candidate for the Old Trafford role.
United dismissed Ruben Amorim a few months ago and appointed Michael Carrick as interim manager until the season concludes.
