Manchester City secured the domestic double after defeating Chelsea 1–0 in the FA Cup final.
The victory ended a streak of consecutive defeats at Wembley for Pep Guardiola’s side.
City had previously lost the last two finals, to Manchester United and Crystal Palace.
The first half was tightly contested, with neither team able to find a breakthrough, leaving the score at 0–0.
The sole goal came in the second half when Antoine Semenyo finished a fluid team move.
With this win, City will add the FA Cup to the Carabao Cup they captured in March, when they beat Arsenal 2–0.
They remain two points behind Arsenal in the Premier League, with two matches remaining.
