Today marks the final day of the 2025/26 English Premier League season, and one of the ten concluding fixtures is Burnley versus Wolves.

The match will be played at Turf Moor, and despite the low stakes, it is expected to offer fans plenty of excitement.

There is little to play for in this encounter. Both clubs have already been relegated and are now competing solely for pride. Burnley sit 19th in the Premier League table with 21 points, while Wolverhampton Wanderers occupy the bottom spot in 20th with 19 points. Consequently, the losing side will finish the season as the last team in the league.

Afrik-foot reports that a Nigerian angle is present in this match, as Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare is listed on the bench for Burnley.

He joined the club from Genk last summer, but his time in England has not been successful, with only three goals in 32 Premier League appearances.

This will be his final appearance of the season before the summer break, and he hopes to finish on a high note by coming off the bench to score a goal.
