Ligue 1 awards: Complete list of winners

Paris hosted the 2025/26 UNFP Awards ceremony on Monday, where Ligue 1 powerhouse PSG secured a dominant presence, and forward Ousmane Dembele was named the league’s Player of the Year.

The French winger earned the prestigious accolade for the second time in his career after an impressive season with PSG, succeeding former teammate Kylian Mbappé, who had captured the award five straight years before moving to Real Madrid.

In his acceptance remarks, Dembele attributed the achievement to his teammates.

“This is an individual trophy, but all the individual trophies I’ve won are thanks to this team,” he said.

PSG youngster Desire Doue also earned recognition for his season‑long performances, securing the Best Young Player award.

In the coaching category, Pierre Sage was named Coach of the Year after steering Lens to become one of PSG’s closest challengers throughout the campaign.

Lens also supplied the league’s Best Goalkeeper, as Robin Risser claimed the award after a series of standout performances between the posts.

Meanwhile, Michael Olise was honoured as the Best French Player Abroad after a strong showing with Bayern Munich this season.
