The Lagos State Government will host the third edition of its flagship investment forum, ‘Invest in Lagos 3.0’, aiming to attract N4 trillion in local and foreign direct investment.
The summit will take place from Monday, 8 June to Tuesday, 9 June 2026 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, in partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).
Experts and business leaders from all 56 Commonwealth nations are expected to attend, with the goal of positioning Lagos as Africa’s leading sub‑national hub for capital flows, trade integration, financial innovation and infrastructure development.
During a press conference earlier this week, Folashade Bada Ambrose‑Medebem, Co‑Chair of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for Invest Lagos Summit 3.0, said the outcomes of the summit would build on and surpass previous editions with greater depth, stronger global engagement and clearer implementation pathways.
Ambrose‑Medebem, who also serves as Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, explained that the high‑level forum, themed “Lagos: The Business Gateway to Africa – Where Innovation Meets Capital”, will showcase investment opportunities in priority sectors such as infrastructure, industrialisation, the digital economy, agriculture, energy transition, logistics, financial services, real estate and SME development.
She added, “Lagos sits at the centre of the African economic story.”
Mr. Sam Egube, Co‑Chair of the Local Organising Committee and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, noted that more than 29 global speakers from various countries and industries have confirmed their attendance.
