Lagos Reschedules Public Service Examinations

The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, via the State Examination Board, has announced a change to the timetable for the current Public Service Examinations, which were originally set for 14 to 16 May 2026.

In a statement released by the board, it was clarified that the afternoon examination sessions will now start at 8:00 a.m.

Students affected by this change include those with examination numbers ADM5001–6000, EXT0751–1500, CA0001–0200, as well as candidates in the CSII, CSIII and CSIV categories.

The board also noted that exams originally scheduled for Friday, 15 May, have been moved to Tuesday, 19 May 2026, while papers slated for Saturday, 16 May, will now take place on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.

All rescheduled examinations are expected to begin at 8:00 a.m.
