Kwara United Thank Lagos Fans for Their Support During Onikan Stay

Kwara United thanked football fans in Lagos for their support while the club was temporarily relocated to the city.

Club chairman Kumbi Titiloye described the backing from Lagos State football stakeholders as “massive and unprecedented.”

He added that the stakeholders had played a significant role in the team’s recent strong performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

According to DAILY POST, Kwara United secured four victories and one draw at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan.

“We thank Lagos for their support,” Titiloye said to the club’s media.

“Their unwavering commitment played a pivotal role in securing positive results while temporarily playing at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.”

The club now sits in 11th place on the NPFL table, with one match remaining against relegated Bayelsa United in Yenagoa on May 24.
