Traditional rulers of Kwara North Senatorial District have thanked President Bola Tinubu, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership for backing the district’s bid to produce the next governor of the state in 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the monarchs, Vice Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Council of Chiefs and Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi II, described the decision as a historic moment.
He said the move demonstrated fairness, inclusiveness, and a genuine commitment to political balance within the state.
According to the Etsu Patigi, “Backing Kwara North’s aspiration proves that the leadership is serious about justice, unity, and keeping peace across all regions of the state.”
