Kidnappers attack Oyo community, abducting one person and injuring another.

Gunmen believed to be kidnappers abducted a person in Oyo State, DAILY POST reports.

According to reports, three armed men seized one individual and wounded another during the attack.

The assault took place in Ago Aare, located in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone, on Monday.

DAILY POST learned on Tuesday that the abducted individual was identified as Wasiu Aleshinloye.

The State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident in an official statement.

In the statement provided to DAILY POST, Ayanlade noted that one person sustained injuries.

He said, “I can confirm to you that a case of abduction was reported at Tede Division on 11/05/2026 at about 2220hrs”.
