Keyamo: “Others Will Return Soon” – Update on Release of Ex‑Minister’s Sister and Children

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo praised the Nigeria Police for rescuing the younger sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu and her children.

In a post on his verified X account on Saturday night, Keyamo said that other kidnapped victims would be recovered without delay.

“Well done! Well done! The others are coming home soon,” he wrote.

DAILY POST reports that the ex‑minister’s sister and her children were released on Saturday.

During the operation, two suspected kidnappers were killed in a gun duel with police operatives, and two firearms were seized from the gang.

The victims were abducted at about 7:30 a.m. on 3 June 2026 while on their way to drop the children at school.
