Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial ticket for the 2027 election.
In the primary, Kefas received 166,375 votes, defeating former Minister of Transport Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, who garnered 4,110 votes.
After his victory was announced, Kefas said the win belonged to all party members.
He also reached out to his rivals, inviting them to collaborate on building a better Taraba as he seeks re‑election.
He added that the upcoming challenges are larger than personal ambition and called for a unified purpose among party faithful to secure a decisive victory at both state and national levels.
Kefas pledged to continue providing the leadership needed to advance the state.
