Katsina APC backs Tinubu’s 2027 re‑election bid.

Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, said that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state have formally declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re‑election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Radda made the statement while speaking with journalists during the party’s exercise in his hometown on Saturday. He noted that APC members from all wards and local government areas took part in the process to reaffirm their backing of the President.

He said the exercise demonstrated democratic participation and internal party unity within the APC.

According to Radda, large numbers of party members turned out to show their support for President Tinubu as the party’s preferred candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

The governor praised the turnout of supporters, describing it as a sign of confidence in the leadership of the APC and in the country’s democratic process.

He also dismissed criticisms of the President, insisting that Tinubu continues to enjoy strong backing from party members and the wider population in Katsina State.

Radda expressed optimism that the APC would achieve a strong performance in the 2027 elections at all levels of government.
