Kano Government Calls on Residents to Support Tinubu in 2027

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State urged residents to continue backing President Bola Tinubu, arguing that the president merits strong support for his dedication to the state and the nation.

The appeal was made in a statement released by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, on Wednesday in Kano.

Dawakin-Tofa reported that Yusuf delivered the message while presenting the Certificate of Return to the newly elected member for the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo.

Yusuf said that Kano State has a reason to stand firmly behind Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He highlighted the productive relationship between the Kano State government and the federal government, praising Tinubu for backing critical infrastructure and development projects in the state.

Yusuf described Tinubu as a leader devoted to national unity and progress, and called on political leaders and stakeholders to remain united and strengthen the partnership between Kano and Abuja.

He congratulated Nagogo on his victory and expressed confidence that he would provide effective representation for the Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with the federal government to advance policies and programmes aimed at improving citizens’ lives. (NAN)
