The campaign council of All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate Abdulazeez Abubakar Kaka has rejected the primary election held for the Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

This position was announced in a statement released by the council.

The statement said that campaign members and party supporters were present in all 12 wards where the primary was supposed to take place, yet they reportedly found no electoral officials, voting materials, or arrangements for the election.

The council also claimed that a group associated with a rival aspirant later appeared and declared results under what it described as questionable circumstances.

“This is a clear hijack of the democratic process, an abuse of internal party democracy, and a calculated attempt to impose a predetermined outcome on the people,” the statement read.

The council urged APC leadership to investigate the incident and address the concerns about how the primary was conducted.

It further asked supporters and party members to remain calm while the council seeks to assert its democratic rights through lawful means.
