Joe Cole says Man City will miss the title for a single reason.

Former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has identified the single reason Manchester City will not win the Premier League this season. He made the remarks after City’s 1‑0 FA Cup victory over Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.

Cole also praised Pep Guardiola’s side as the best team in Europe in their current form. “The only reason they won’t win the league this year is that they will run out of road. That old saying you don’t get beat, you just run out of time,” Cole said, as quoted by Metro UK after Man City defeated Chelsea 1‑0 in the FA Cup final.

“They are at the moment, you can’t argue they are the best side in Europe in terms of form. Chelsea were at it today, and they were just fending them off. Manchester City are a top side and top sides win trophies.”
