Jimoh Secures APC Nomination for Ibadan North West House of Assembly Seat

Hon. Teslim Babatunde Jimoh has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Ibadan North West State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

The primary took place on Wednesday, covering all 11 electoral wards that compose the constituency.

Jimoh received 1,218 votes, surpassing Hon. Adams Adebayo Yusuf, who garnered 859 votes.

The election was overseen by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and security personnel, and the results have been forwarded to the INEC office.

Chief Adekunle Abass Akande, a party chieftain in Ibadan North West local government, said the outcome truly reflected the will of party members.

Speaking with DAILY POST on Thursday, Akande praised the peaceful nature of the exercise and urged all aspirants and supporters to rally behind the winner for the party’s progress.
