The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened a new portal that allows candidates who took the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to change their chosen institution or course.
In a statement released by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the board confirmed that the change‑of‑institution process is now active.
“Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme of choice may now proceed to do so by visiting any of the Board’s approved Computer‑Based Test (CBT) centres,” the statement read.
Applicants are advised to go to any accredited CBT centre across the country to make the required adjustments.
JAMB also announced that the printing of original 2026 UTME result slips will begin on Monday, 18 May 2026.
“Furthermore, the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slip will commence on Monday, 18th May, 2026,” Benjamin added.
