Manchester United defender Dante Plunkett has received a late call‑up to the Jamaica squad for the Unity Cup final against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, reports the DAILY POST.

This marks the first time Plunkett has been invited to represent the Reggae Boyz.

The left‑back, who joined Manchester United after leaving Aston Villa in 2024, made 15 appearances for the club’s U‑18 side across all competitions during the 2025/26 season.

The 18‑year‑old is expected to join the Reggae Boyz in London on Friday.

Rudolph Speid’s team will face the Super Eagles in the final at the Valley on Saturday.

Jamaica lost 5‑4 on penalties to Éric Chelle’s side in last year’s final.
