The Embassy of Ireland to Nigeria, together with Ambassador Peter Ryan and the Friends of Ireland Nigeria, has announced a special Bloomsday celebration to be held in Lagos.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, June 27, will pay tribute to James Joyce’s classic novel Ulysses and highlight the strong cultural and literary ties between Ireland and Nigeria. Bloomsday, observed worldwide each June, commemorates Joyce’s masterpiece.
