Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former ally of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has warned that a U.S. military deployment to Iran could spark a political revolution in America.

Greene, once one of Trump’s most vocal supporters, posted the statement on X after she left Congress following a falling out with the former president.

“If you send in U.S. military troops into Iran, there is going to be a political revolution in America. We are done. We said no more foreign wars, and we meant it,” Greene wrote. “The coalition will unite and be unstoppable. I’ll make sure of it. End this war. It’s stupid.”

The comment comes amid reports that the United States and Israel are preparing for a potential escalation against Iran, the most intense buildup since the ceasefire was agreed last month.

Greene remains a prominent voice within the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, which has expressed frustration over the U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict—an issue Trump had pledged to avoid by steering the country away from “forever wars” such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

Her departure from Congress in 2025 was also marked by criticism of Trump’s handling of the Epstein files.
