Instagram takes down Phyna account amid fight with VeryDarkMan

Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has lost access to her Instagram account.

Her page was suspended on Monday during an ongoing dispute with social‑media critic and influencer VeryDarkMan.

According to DAILY POST, Phyna accused VeryDarkMan of manipulating public opinion after she declined his sexual advance.

VeryDarkMan denied the claim, stating that it is normal to seek consent from another adult for sex and demanded proof of the alleged interaction.

Phyna responded by posting screenshots of her alleged conversations with VeryDarkMan on her Instagram profile.

Within hours of the post, Instagram suspended her account, prompting a range of reactions online, with some accusing her of voluntarily deactivating the account.

In a subsequent X post, Phyna clarified the situation, writing: “I didn’t deactivate my IG. Deactivate say wetin happen na? It got suspended,” she said.
